The fun of Himalayas starts with a glimpse of heritage sites in Kathmandu initially and kickoffs with the gateway to Mustang i.e., Pokhara. Then, with the road trip through the palindromic scenarios of Pokhara valley, you will be heading towards Beni. Now, from Beni, the actual rough routes kick off towards the trans-Himalayan topology of the upper Mustang. The dusty and windy offroad track through Beni will give you a great glimpse of Kali Gandaki Gorge, Annapurna & Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges, along with absolute majestic natural settings. So, during this adventurous jeep trip on the way to upper mustang, you will be transiting through Lo Manthan. Here you will experience absolute dynamic Himalayan topologies along with significant Tibetan influences. 


During your adventurous Jeep tour to the Upper Mustang, you will be exploring trains of Marpha, Jomsom, Kaligandaki, Lo Manthan, etc. Here you will see great Tibetan heritage on people and their cultural activities. What to expect ?

Upper Mustang Jeep tour will allow you to explore multiple untouched architectures, crafts, gigantic landscapes, ancient cultures, and traditions.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival:

Our representative will meet and transfers you towards the hotel in a private vehicle. We will be giving you some ideas about the trip facts and descriptions in the evening session.


Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing tour and Trip preparation:

After having some breakfast, you will be heading towards the heritage areas in Kathmandu. Specially, you will be exploring Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. So, with sightseeing of these heritage sites, you will be transferred to the hotel. Hence, you will get an orientation about the track routes and tour details this day.


Day 3: Drive to Pokhara by a Private Car:

So, with some initial breakfast in the morning, you will be heading towards the paradise valley Pokhara. It will take you around 6 hours of drive to reach Pokhara. So, in the route, you will experience typical Nepali village life, farms, rivers, mountains, and hills. Now, after entering Pokhara, you will have some relaxation at the hotel for sightseeing in the evening. Here you can explore high mountain ranges of Dhaulagiri, Annapurnas, Machapuchare while boating and during the excursion. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara. 


Day 4: Drive Pokhara to Beni to Tatopani (2600m Elevation):

 Breakfast in the morning and drive towards Beni to Tatopani on 4 W/D Jeep. You will be kicking off your off-road route from Beni, as you will be on a jeep trip for about 6-7 hours. During your jeep drive, you will see the high flow of the Kaligandaki river along the way. The Kali Gandaki River is the world's deepest Gorge in between Himalayan ranges of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. After reaching Tatopani, you will have the option of exploring the local market and hot natural waters. Overnight at Tatopani.


Day 5: Drive from Tatopani to Kagbeni and visit Muktinath Temple (3800 m. Elevation):

After breakfast, you will be heading towards Kagbeni from Tatopani, on 4WD Jeep. It will take you around 5-6 hours of off-road experience. So, here you will be exploring the local market of Marpha and Jomsom. After this, you will be heading towards the holy Muktinath Temple. Muktinath Temple is very sacred and popular among Hindus and Buddhists. During your Muktinath trip, you will see Jal Devi where you will see fire lighting naturally. Overnight at Muktinath. 


Day 6: After special Permit drive towards Ghami Village via Syangboche Pass:

In the morning session, you will be having breakfast; then you will be heading towards various Buddhist centers and Kagbeni Monastery. So, before you leave Kagbeni your guide will check all the entry permits and documents required to enter Upper Mustang. Initially, you will be heading towards Chusang village on jeep following the great Kali Gandaki river. So, by crossing many ancient towns and trains, you will be reaching Ghami Village. Here you will see many Tibetan influences in locals cultures and traditions. Similarly, you can take pictures and explore the dynamic landscape. You will see many yaks, donkeys, etc. while bypassing Syanboche. Overnight at Syanboche Pass.


Day 7: Drive to Lo-Manthang (3840 m. Elevation):

So, this day after having breakfast, you will be exploring various Buddhist monuments and monasteries. Some of the monasteries you will be studying in Mustang are Lo Gager Ghar Gompa, Chodey Gumpa and the Monastic Museum. Along the way, you will be experiencing great Tibetan heritages, arts, cultures, and influences among locals. You will be exploring some Buddhist schools, museums, mountains, hills, yaks, etc. in Lo-Manthang. Overnight at the guest house.


Day 8: Lo-Manthang and Chosar:

So, with breakfast at the guest house, you will be exploring various other museums that were missing on the previous day. You will be exploring Namgyal Gompa, which is sacred among Tibetan Buddhists. Similarly, you will be exploring some of the holy caves such as Sky caves of Chose, Shija Jhong cave. These caves have ancient archeological and religious importance. Also, Buddhist monks do meditation in these caves since old ages. So, along the way towards the upper Mustang, you will see many caves, sacred landscapes, trains, and other hidden mysteries. After complete sightseeing, you will be heading towards the guesthouse for overnight stay.

 

Day 9: Back to Jomsom:

So, on this day you will be heading towards Jomsom after some beautiful breakfast. Along the way, you will see many traditional villages, monasteries, Buddhist monuments, and the evergreen Kali Gandaki river. Finally, in the evening session, you will be able to do some shopping in the local market of Jomsom. Overnight stay at Jomsom.


Day 10: Drive Back to Pokhara:

So, this day you will be getting back to Pokhara from Jomsom after breakfast. Finally, in the evening session, you will be doing some sightseeing in a gorgeous Pokhara city. Overnight at Pokhara.


Day 11: Back to Kathmandu:

So, this tour package is at its concluding phase, as you will be having breakfast in Pokhara. Then you will be heading towards Kathmandu. Again, along the way, you will get the windy experience of nature, hills, mountains, peoples, villages, rivers while heading towards Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu with a farewell dinner.


Day 12: Departure:

So, with breakfast in the morning, we will have some feedback sessions with you. Hence, we will be guiding you towards the airport for your onward destination.
