About Trip:
Everest Base Camp helicopter tour allows you to visit the Everest region with landing either at Everest Base Camp or Kalapathar. Heli tour to Everest Base Camp is considered the best in Ariel tours the world over. Everest Heli Tour starts from Kathmandu flying towards the east unfolding spectacular mountain drama to the gateway of the Everest region, Lukla. After refueling in Lukla, you will fly towards Everest Base Camp/Kalapathar. The helicopter flies past Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorakshep, Khumbu glacier and lands either at Everest Base Camp or Kalapathar as per the weather conditions. You will be given about 5-10 minutes approx. time for some photographic opportunities and fly towards Syangboche at Hotel Everest View for breakfast. Hotel Everest View at Syangboche also offers great views of Mt. Everest and all the other Khumbu giants.
Throughout the Everest Base Camp heli tour, you will come across majestic panorama of some of the worlds tallest mountains including Mt. Everest. Afterwards, fly to Kathmandu en-route stopping again at Lukla for refueling then you will fly back to Kathmandu. What to expect ?
Fly over Everest Base Camp (5364m/17598ft) and get close & personal with the scenic helicopter flight over the world's tallest mountain series. Enjoy a panoramic view from Kalapather (5545m/18192ft) and witness majestic views of Mt. Everest including Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kantega, Lhotse, Nuptse.
Itinerary
Day 01: Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu & fly to EBC either landing at Mt. Everest Base Camp (5364m/17598ft) or Kalapathar (5545m/18192ft) & fly back Syangboche (3,780m)/Kathmandu
Early in the morning, pick-up from the hotel and drive to the Tribhuvan Airport (domestic). Board the helicopter and fly to Lukla – short stop at Lukla for fueling. Then fly towards Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorakshep, Khumbu glacier and land either at Everest Base Camp or Kalapathar as per the weather conditions. The helicopter will stay for about 05-10 minutes approx. then fly to Syangboche (3,780m) to the Everest View Hotel. Breakfast at the hotel witnessing some great mountain panorama. Then fly back to Kathmandu & transfer to your hotel.

Tour Operation
The helicopter Pilot will try his best to land at the Everest Base Camp (5364m/17598ft) and this also depends upon the weather conditions/helipad availability. If unable to land at the base camp, it will go/land to Kalapather (5545m/18192ft) which commands a majestic panorama of the Khumbu mountains including Mt. Everest.
Vehicle
We use comfortable car/mini-van for the transfers to/from hotel to airport and back. (For up to 2 people, a car is provided and mini-van is for the group 3 & above)
Tour duration
The tour duration is 3.5 - 4 hours.
Group Size
The group size is from 1 - 5 people per charter. If there is a group size 4-5 person, we will do two shuttles from the Everest View Hotel or Lobuche.
Clothing
Clothing varies with the type of tour and season. It’s warm in Kathmandu from April to October-end and from November to March-end, days are usually warm but evening colder. Summer clothes are okay during the daytime but the evening requires a light jacket. Winter is from December until February so bring along sufficient winter wears like jackets, sweaters, trousers, etc. Or you can purchase clothes of your choice in Kathmandu clothing stores too.
